Chico Lessa was born in Vitória, Espírito Santo, on November 12, 1948. At the age of 13, influenced by the Beatles, Chico began to play the guitar. At the age of 17 he moved to Rio de Janeiro, where he got to know and live with great MPB musicians. In 1982 he recorded his first LP.
